The Breakdown

Most coaching companies dodge the pricing conversation. They either say, “it depends” or they hide behind vague “apply now” buttons.
We don’t play that game.

What Drives the Cost of Online Coaching Up?

The cost of coaching isn’t arbitrary. It’s tied directly to the level of service, experience, and support you receive.
Here are the main factors:

    1 Concierge-Level Service

At our highest tier, coaching becomes fully white-glove. If you’re traveling, we’ll find gyms for you. If you need extra support, we’ll connect you with trusted practitioners—chiropractors, soft tissue specialists, nutritionists, doctors. In certain cases, we’ll even train you in person.

This kind of service requires time, coordination, and resources. Naturally, that drives cost up.

  1. 2 Functional Medicine & Biology-Based Programs

When your plan is based not just on workouts and macros, but on your actual biology, costs rise. Why? Because bloodwork and labs aren’t cheap, and interpreting them takes advanced knowledge.

This is what allows us to design programs that are truly unique—dialing in hormones, metabolism, gut health, and recovery.

  2. 3 Coach Experience

The more experienced your coach, the faster and better your results. But experience has a price tag.

Would you rather have a coach who’s been at it 6 months—or 16 years? Experience means fewer mistakes, clearer direction, and results that come faster. I’ve been coaching since 2009 working with thousands of people from professional athletes and CEOs to busy parents, with our work (and clients’ results) getting featured in over 300 major publications from CNN and Yahoo to Men’s Health, Women’s Health, and Bodybuilding.com.

  3. 4 Support Intensity

The more support you have—calls, check-ins, form reviews, proactive feedback—the more labor-intensive it is for us. That time, expertise, and accountability translates to higher cost.

  4. 5 Duration

Shorter programs cost more per month, but less overall. LONGER programs give you a better chance to change your habits and lifestyle for a permanent transformation. Typically, they cost LESS per month but longer overall.

Put simply

More customization, more access, and concierge-level service mean more expertise — which equals a higher investment.

What Drives the Cost Down?

Not everyone needs—or wants—the concierge experience.

Here’s what keeps costs lower:

  • Programs with less hands-on support
  • Limited access to your coach (you reach out when you need us, vs. weekly calls)
  • No bloodwork or lab integration
  • Fewer check-ins, less proactive accountability

For many people, this is exactly what they want: simple guidance, accountability, and a structure to follow. They don’t want to have to think about what to do, yet have the ability to reach out when needed.

And yes—this still works.

Think of it like flying coach vs. business class. Both planes get you to the same destination. One just comes with more comfort, personalization, and service.

Why Are Some Programs So Expensive?

Ideally, because they’re excellent.

A premium price tag should reflect:

  • A proven track record of client success (our reviews)
  • Depth of knowledge across training, nutrition, recovery, and lifestyle
  • Access to advanced tools like lab work and functional medicine (some of our programs incorporate this and connect you with world-class doctors)
  • Decades of experience (we’ve been doing this since 2009). For example, we’ve helped thousands of clients, have extensive experience over decades, and our work has been featured in most of the biggest health and fitness websites around… because we’re great at what we do.
a

Here’s the mindset shift most people miss:

Patient: “That root canal was $2,000 for 2 minutes of work. That’s outrageous!”

Dentist: “It took me 20 years to know exactly what to do in those 2 minutes.”

It’s the same with coaching. You can join a cheaper group training class and get more “rah rah” coaching, but it’s going to be less personalized, not include education, nutrition support, and habit change coaching to get you permanent results.

A coach will tell you the one thing you need to change today that will unlock your results tomorrow. You’re not paying for our time. You’re paying for precision.

Why Are Some Programs So Cheap?

As the saying goes, “If you think hiring an expert is expensive, wait until you hire an amateur.”

Usually, it’s because:

  • The coach is inexperienced (just certified, no track record yet)
  • They’re offering cookie-cutter templates instead of true customization
  • They operate on volume (selling to hundreds at once, with little personal attention)

Cheap isn’t always bad—everyone starts somewhere. But here’s the trade-off:

With a cheap program, you may spend months spinning your wheels.

With a precise, experienced coach, you’ll know exactly what matters—and what doesn’t.

You can hire a babysitter… or you can hire a coach.

Precision beats time, every time.

Where Do Our Prices Fall?

We believe in meeting people where they’re at. That’s why we have multiple tiers:
Entry-Level Coaching: starts around $62/week (~$250/month).
Platinum Concierge Coaching: up to $12,000/year (includes concierge-level support, bloodwork integration, practitioner network, and in-person elements when needed).
Some clients fall between these two extremes with our GOLD Coaching, which ranges between $400-$700/month and may include bloodwork, monthly calls etc.
And here’s something else: once you’re a client, we frequently run private internal offers. These are discounts (15–25%) and bonus packages only available to current clients—not the general public.

Lifetime Value vs. Initial Price

Here’s the reality:
Coaching is front-loaded with time and labor on our side.

When you start, we’re investing heavily in:

  • Reviewing and correcting exercise form
  • Setting up your plan in our apps and systems
  • Interpreting bloodwork (if applicable)
  • Building nutrition and training plans tailored to you

This is why the initial cost can feel higher.

But once you’re up and running, costs typically decrease, because the heavy lifting (no pun intended) is already done… and it’s why over 65% of our clients resign with us — some have stayed with us for over 10 years.

Our Conditional Promise

We back our coaching with a money-back guarantee.

If you:

  • Do the workouts
  • Check in as required
  • Follow the program

…and you don’t get results, we’ll refund your investment.

Coaching is a partnership. If you do your part and it doesn’t work, we’ll take the loss—not you.

The Cost of NOT Fixing the Problem

Everyone thinks about the cost of coaching. Few think about the cost of doing nothing. Think about what it’s already cost you to NOT perform your best—whether it’s weeks, months, or years. Not investing in coaching saves you the investment, but it also means you keep the problem you’re facing.

Here are the numbers:

  • People with chronic conditions account for ~90% of U.S. health care spending.
  • Average healthcare costs: $6,032/year for someone with chronic disease vs. ~$1,200/year for a healthy individual.
  • U.S. employers lose $575 billion/year in productivity from poor worker health.
  • Sleep-related productivity losses: $280–411 billion/year.

Here are the personal consequences:

  • Lost confidence and energy
  • Lower libido and strained relationships
  • Brain fog, poor decision-making, and slower career progress
  • Higher risk of disease and shorter lifespan

The ROI on health is massive.

When you invest in coaching, you’re not just buying workouts—you’re buying back years of life, confidence, and performance.

In-Person Training vs. Online Coaching

I’ve done both for 16 years. Here’s the honest breakdown:

  • 1 Cost

In-Person: $100+/hour. 3x/week = ~$1,200/month (and usually doesn’t include nutrition, education, or bloodwork). This is for a quality trainer, some are much more.

Online: $400–600/month average, often with more holistic support.

  • 2 Technique & Mechanics

In-Person: Best if you need hands-on corrections. For most people, this isn’t what’s holding them back from results — habits and nutrition are. They’re 90% of the equation for losing fat and building muscle.

Online: Still includes video form checks and coaching. Great cueing works even without being in the same room. And it teaches you how to “coach” yourself.

  • 3 Flexibility

In-Person: You’re tied to your trainer’s schedule. Not always easy when you have a career and kids.

Online: You train when it works for you. This works so much better for many busy professionals.

  • 4 Lifestyle Coaching

In-Person: Rarely includes nutrition, sleep, stress management, bloodwork and hormone testing.

Online: That’s where it shines. We dig deep on these areas which, for many, is what’s holding them back.

  • 5 Coach Sustainability

In-Person: Most in-person trainers make ~$40K/year, grind long hours (5am–7pm + weekends) and burn out. This is why you don’t see many older personal trainers. Add in the cost of education and cost of living in places that allow trainers to charge their worth, the average in-person training career is painfully short. And with that, quality suffers.

Online: Coaching allows coaches to build sustainable careers—so we can be here long-term for our clients. It affords more time and financial flexibility while providing a superior service.

  • Bottom Line:

In-Person: Unmatched for technique and connection. It worked best when I was working with pro athletes where a millimeter difference meant millions.

Online: Unmatched for lifestyle, accountability, and cost-effectiveness for 99% of people.

    Hybrid: Best of both worlds.
